Consolidated Investment Group (CIG) is a leading-edge investment company managing a large, international portfolio. Since our founding in 2003, we actively invest in real estate, capital markets, private equity, and philanthropy.

We currently have a newly created position for a Research Associate. This position will provide analytical support across multiple investment classes; provide analytical and infrastructure support for asset allocation, benchmarking and return analysis.  They will assist in all phases of the investment process.


  • Research potential investments in multiple different asset classes.
  • Research projects as directed by the department head.
  • Responsible for investment documentation to be filed with legal, investment banks and other third parties.
  • Responsible for compliance support and miscellaneous back office work.
  • Analyze industries as they relate to investment ideas generated by department head.
  • Analyze economic information (unemployment rates, rate of inflation, balance statements, inventory levels, debt, dividends and many other criteria to indicate how well companies perform, etc.) and provide recommendation as to potential impact on investment decisions
  • Analyze both domestic and international markets to help identify potential investment opportunities
  • Review global markets daily, analyze data and advise MD of spikes in market(s)
  • Provide monthly quantitative analysis of manager performance in various asset classes assigned to this position
  • Participate in investigation and presentation of new investment ideas
  • Model potential investment ideas in Excel.
  • Provide analytical support to assist in investment decision making process
  • Anticipate through market history and investigation, trends that will affect values and performance in assigned asset classes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • Desire to pursue CFA Charter
  • 1-3 years analytical experience in investment field
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and experience
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg or FactSet helpful
  • Ability to model complex investment options
