SBH seeks a Performance Manager to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience with an investment management firm; extensive knowledge of GIPS, Advent (AXYS/APX/Composite Management Utility), and advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel.

This position reports to the Director of Operations. The Performance Manager will work independently on projects but also provide support to the senior management team. The Performance Manager maintains firm-wide GIPS compliance, and maintains accurate composite performance and related records.  This position does not have direct reports.


  •          Generate performance returns and reports for domestic and foreign portfolios from internal accounting system on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis
  •          Compute benchmark and composite returns on a monthly basis with comparison to portfolio returns
  •          Determine accuracy of portfolio returns versus benchmark returns and analysis of outstanding issues or exceptions
  •          Manage updates of all account and composite changes to ensure accuracy of changes for GIPS compliance
  •          Generate and maintain monthly files to document account inclusion/exclusion from all composites
  •          Responsible for updating and maintaining the portfolio/composite database for portfolio, benchmark, and composite returns
  •          Respond to internal staff inquiries



  •          Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  •          5 to 7 years working with GIPS
  •          3 to 5 years working with Advent and performance generation
  •          Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) required
  •          Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  •          Advanced level proficiency with Excel
  •          Ability to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities under short deadlines
  •          Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities
  •          Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  •          Knowledge and experience generating performance with Eagle Investment Systems a plus
