Private Capital Management (PCM) is a fee only Registered Investment Advisor delivering full wealth management solutions tailored to help each client meet their financial goals.  We are seeking a senior advisor to manage existing client relationships and to help develop new client relationships through referrals from existing clients and from the firm’s strategic partners.

Essential Duties:

Employees are held accountable for all duties of the job. Individuals must be able to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Demonstrate purpose, values, and guiding principles of the company.

  • Become lead advisor on existing client relationships.

  • Maintain wealth management relationships (financial planning and investment management) with existing and new clients.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow PCM team members to deliver service that delights our clients.

  • Manage client portfolios in accordance with investment committee directives, client goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.

  • Help source, develop, and maintain new client relationships.

  • Develop relationships with bank partners for opportunities to better serve clients of Private Capital Management and customers of Guaranty Bank and Trust.

  • Maintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with Private Capital Management’s “Code of Ethics”, internal policies and procedures, laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrates core values and guiding principles as outlined in the Bank’s identity statement.

  • Ensures that all activities and work functions comply with compliance requirements as defined in company policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations.

 

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field of study)

  • 5+ years wealth management experience

  • 3+ Years in a business development capacity for an wealth management firm

  • Able to work with little to no direct supervision

  • Excellent consultative, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Client portfolio management experience.

  • In-Depth knowledge of financial planning concepts and financial plan construction

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of wealth management experience
  • Master’s Degree in related field of study
  • CFA candidate or CFA Charterholder
  • CFP candidate or CFP designation holder
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Center, Junxure, Schwab Advisor Center, TD Ameritrade VEO, eMoney
