CFACO Women's Initiative Network (WIN) Kick-off

February 25, 2018
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM

1575 Boulder St.
Denver, CO 80211

We're excited to announce our first event hosted by Women's Initiative Network (WIN). You may be aware of gender diversity initiatives that have been taking place at CFAI given the strong business case linking women on boards and management teams and performance. As such, we have started our own initiative here at CFACO where our vision is to broaden the diversity of perspectives in the investment industry by encouraging the engagement and collaboration of CFACO Society women. Currently, only 15% of CFACO membership is women.

This event will be a panel presentation moderated by Leah Bennett, CFA who is the chief operating officer of Westwood Trust Houston and a member of the CFA Institute Board of Governors. The panel, combined with an intimate group discussion involving attendees, will discuss similar initiatives at the Institute, other Societies, and at various companies that are incorporating gender diversity focused initiatives and their associated benefits and challenges.

Additionally, we will unveil and discuss the results of the WIN survey that recently went out. (if you haven't yet had a chance to respond, please do so here)

The success of this initiative will depend on participation from both men and women as perspectives from both sides are crucial to constructive and productive dialogue. As such, this event is open to men and women and we encourage everyone to consider attending.

This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and contribute to the development of this important initiative, while enjoying Coastal Mexican brunch fare and cocktails at one of Denver's best restaurants.

Attendance for this event is capped to ensure productive discussion dynamics so make sure to register soon!
